Original work!

Blog last week, I was able to start my first mentor visit with Jon Brickey as we explored a lot of different things. The first thing that we had looked into was what my original work and final products are going to be this year. After this, he gave me a couple resources to use for potential interviews just to retain some more information. For my original work this year, I’m going to be focusing a lot on rent somewhere in the lifecycle that it is, I’m going to be making a PowerPoint that discusses all of this for the final presentation night. My final product will be to make a side-by-side video comparison that will show what a hacker does to get into someone’s computer and I’ll show what the person is doing as they are affected by the ransomware. With this, I have to look for a lot of different examples that prove these points, as well as research heavily on the lifecycle of ransomware and how people can be safe from it and avoid it at all cost. Ultimately, a lot of this information should stem from last year as I can now look into a lot more specific terms on this topic.
