During last week, I was able to not only create a presentation for my research that they are, I was also able to in depth research a lot about hotspots and how they are unsafe as well as training that goes behind them. The previous week, I really looked into if public hotspots are safe or not. The short answer is no, they are not safe at all. And last week, I was able to look at how extensive this was talked about with the government agencies and I was able to explore a flyer that was presented to a government agency. They had talked about how they should almost never connect public hotspots, and if they would they should use a VPN, and even though it might not, to completely, it would act like a bulletproof vest that will take almost all the shots to them. Previously, I had looked at How different companies would train their employees a lot on a month-to-month basis on how important service security is. But I had not known this something I was researching, was also a big role player and different agencies. Public hotspots should never be messed with when you're opening a bank account, or logging into a very secure website. As all that information could be washed in instant. It was very interesting to see how a government agency was so particular and what their employees could use and not use, especially with public hotspots and how dangerous they are, further proving the point that the little routers are one of the most unsafe ways people can access the internet. I had known, that these people are able to see the different things that you were doing online, but I had no idea in the world that they are able to see login credentials as well as the website to log into, which is so unsafe as it could be a way you could literally lose almost all your money.
